GRAMMY AWARD-WINNING RAPPER T-PAIN'S ONE OF A KIND MUSTANG RTR
The world of car culture loves rapper T-Pain, with his exquisite car collection and passion for all things with an engine. However, he isn’t the average collector, but an avid gearhead with a passion for anything with horsepower. He even has his own drift team, called Nappy Boy Drifting, where he drifts cars from his own garage. It was only fitting that the first Mustang in his garage got the RTR treatment. In true RTR fashion, this Mustang RTR Spec 2 couldn’t be anything less than out of this world.
This 2021 Mustang GT got the standard RTR Spec 2 Package with some custom upgrades to fit the style of its new owner. All Mustang RTRs that are upfitted with a Spec 2 package come with a fully decked out aesthetic. The front end received an RTR Upper and Lower Grille with Signature RTR LED Accent Vent lights, a RTR Chin Spoiler, Bumper Inserts, Hood Vents, and Turning Vanes.
Meanwhile on the backend of the RTR Spec 2, you’ll find an RTR Rear Diffuser, Spoiler, and Decklid Panel with the finishing aesthetic details of RTR Rocker Splitters, Fender Badges, and Signature RTR Graphics. Style isn’t the only thing this mustang has; it’s got the performance to match too. As standard with all RTR Spec 2’s, RTR Tactical Performance Lowering Springs, Front and Rear Sway Bars, and Adjustable Shocks and Struts were installed. The Mustang also got a new pair of shoes, with some 20″ RTR Aero 7 wheels and a set of Nitto NT555 G2 tires.
Now enter all the custom upgrades that make this car bigger and badder than the standard RTR Spec 2. Anyone who knows T-Pain knows that he is a huge fan of the show Rick and Morty and is even friends with the creator of the show. In order to put some of his personality and passions into this unique build, it is officially named the “C-137,” in reference to the dimension that the original Rick and Morty come from. The Mustang also features RTR’s Signature Spec 5 Widebody, Coilovers, Fun-Haver Steering Angle Kit, and an ASD Hydraulic E-Brake, as seen in many other RTR builds, that will give the car the added drifting capabilities that it is destined for with an owner like T-Pain.
This build is out of this world in many ways and there is nothing like being able to see it being enjoyed and pushed to its fullest capacity right here at the RTR Lab. The whole team here at RTR is grateful for this once in a lifetime opportunity and could not be happier with the results at the end of the day.
